INVALIDATECACHE

The INVALIDATECACHE option indicates whether the SQL Statements in the dynamic cache should be invalidated for the processing object.

Yes

Tells BMC AMI Reorg to invalidate the SQL statements in the dynamic statement cache. 

No

Tells BMC AMI Reorg not to invalidate the SQL statements in the dynamic statement cache.

Warning

Important

  • BMC AMI Reorg changes NO to YES when REORG REBALANCE or REORG DDLIN is specified, invalidating the dynamic statement cache in all cases. It doesn't matter if INVALIDATECACHE (YES|NO), +INVALIDATECACH (YES|NO), or both are specified.
  • If you specify INVALIDATECACHE (YES), the dynamic statement cache is invalidated. It doesn't matter if +INVALIDATECACH (YES|NO) is specified.
  • If you specify INVALIDATECACHE (NO), the dynamic statement cache is not invalidated. It doesn't matter if +INVALIDATECACH (YES|NO) is specified.
