This option specifies the behavior of IMPORT and MIGRATE commands when the source and target structures are not the same.
Valid values are as follows:
- AUTO—(Default) specifies that data can be migrated when the source and target structures are not the same but are compatible
- REQUIRED—specifies that data should not be migrated when the source and target structures are not the same
You can override the MATCHING installation option by using the MATCHING keyword in the IMPORT or MIGRATE commands.
