MATCHING=AUTO

This option specifies the behavior of IMPORT and MIGRATE commands when the source and target structures are not the same.
The following values are valid:
Value | Description |

MATCHING=AUTO | (Default) Indicates that data can be migrated when source and target structures are not the same, but are compatible |
MATCHING=REQUIRED | Indicates that data should not be migrated when source and target structures are not the same |
You can override the MATCHING installation option by using the MATCHING keyword in the IMPORT or MIGRATE commands. For more information, see MATCHING.
