The +DEADLINE parameter specifies the number of minutes allowed for the Change Apply phase of BMC AMI Reorg.
+DEADLINE is set by the configuration job, usually UBMCCNTL(NGT$GLBL). You can override this parameter in individual utility jobs with the UTLPARMS DD. You can set the value of this parameter dynamically at utility runtime using the XSUTGLOB (global variable definition) automation control point.

The values are defined as follows:
0 | (default) Indicates that no deadline should be used |
|---|---|
numberMinutes | A value from 0 to 255, indicating the number of minutes |
BMC AMI Reorgis shipped with a recommended +DEADLINE parameter setting of 120.
If the deadline is reached without Change Apply completing, the product issues message NGTR859 CHANGE APPLY DEADLINE LIMIT OF xxx MINUTES REACHED and the job terminates.
