The DELETEFILES option tells BMC AMI Load whether to delete the INFO and OUT data sets after the load process completes successfully. Using the SYSDISC keyword, you can also specify the disposition of any empty discard data sets.

Warning

Important

  • BMC AMI Load always deletes the work (WK) data set after the load process completes.
  • BMC AMI Load only deletes dynamically allocated empty discard data sets, not JCL-allocated discard data sets.
  • DELETEFILES overrides the DELETEOUTPUT parameter.

YES

Tells BMC AMI Load to delete all corresponding INFO and OUT data sets after the load process completes successfully.

NO

(default) BMC AMI Load retains any INFO or OUT data sets.

SYSDISC

The SYSDISC keyword overrides the DELETEDISCARD parameter depending on your configuration:

YES

Tells BMC AMI Load to delete empty discard data sets. Overrides +DELETEDISCARD.

NO

(default) BMC AMI Load retains the empty discard data sets. Overrides +DELETEDISCARD.

Warning

Important

You can override this parameter with the SYSDISCkeyword.
