Sorting baselines


Use the following procedure to sort the baselines, which are available only in 

BMC AMI Change Manager for Db2

, in a selection list by one or more of the following columns: owner, name, type, status, date, and comments.

To sort baselines

  1. On the BMC AMI Change Manager for Db2 Main Menu, select Baselines, and press Enter.
  2. On the Baseline Action Menu, type the name of the Baseline or type a wildcard pattern to display a list of baselines. Then, select List Baselines and press Enter.
  3. On the Baseline Selection List, on the Command line, type SORT and press Enter.
  4. On the Sort Specifications panel, specify the columns on which to sort a list of baselines:
    1. In the Seq field, specify sequential digits (starting with 1).Valid values for the field are 1 through 6 (if the Date column is specified) or 1 through 8 (if the Date column is not specified).

      Warning

      Note

      If you specify a sequence for the Date column, you cannot specify a sequence for the YYYY, MM, or DD column.

    2. In the Asc/Desc field, specify whether the data in the columns should be in ascending (A) order or descending (D) order.By default, the data is in ascending order.
    3. Press END.The data is displayed in the Baseline Selection List in the specified sort sequence and order.

To sort the list of baselines by a single column in ascending order

Position your cursor on a column name (for example, Type), and press Enter.

To generate a report for a Baseline
