RC=returnCode Errno=errorNumber from function TaskID=taskID

Explanation: Displays diagnostic information, where:

  • returnCode is the decimal or hexadecimal socket call return code or a value such as a socket number. A hexadecimal value is prefixed with x. The return codes are documented in Appendix D of the IBM manual TCP/IP for MVS: Application Programming Interface Reference (SC31-7187).
  • errorNumber is the decimal socket call error number, as documented in the IBM manual named above.
  • function is the name of the TCP/IP function that returned the error.
  • taskID is the task ID of the product in which the error occurred.
