Copy File or Directory activity library

The Copy File or Directory activity library duplicates a file or directory path on the channel being processed.

Parameter

Description

Source Path

The path to the source file or directory to copy. You can only set the path to the content that is located on the operating channel server.

Warning

Note

The content may be located on the different disk drive then the one specified in the VL_CHANNEL_ROOT parameter.

Destination Path

The destination file or directory to receive the copy on the operating channel server, relative to the VL_CHANNEL_ROOT parameter.

Warning

Note

If you want to send content to a new folder, define it as a full path in Destination Path. For example: C:\temp1\location2\
Without the last slash (\), the copied content is sent to the newly created file 'location2'.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
