Generating deployment reports
Deployment reports include the following types:
- User history — Provides information about a particular user account, including user preferences, and the audit logs from each of the user's sessions, generated as a printable report on a new page
- Deployed files — Provides information about deployed files, including package instances, environments, duration, and status
- Environment history — Provides information about all deployments performed to a particular environment. The report is divided into information about the package instance deployed and the channels affected by the deployment. This report is generated as a printable report on a new page.
- Instance history — Provides information about a particular instance, its creation date, properties and content, and a complete breakdown of each of its deployments. Each deployment includes the environment details, signoff information, and information about how the content was deployed to each of the environment channels.
- Content history — Identifies the deployments for specific pieces of content
- Aggregate — Provides a high-level summary of user activity and deployments based on environment, instances, groups, and content
To generate a user history report
- Click the Report tab.
- Click the Deployment tab.
- Locate the User History report line.
- From the list, select the user name to generate the report for.
- Select the All Records option or specify a date range.
With a date range, the report period goes from the beginning of the Range from date to the end of the Range to date. If both dates are the same, the data returned is for the 24-hour period of that specific day. - In the Actions menu, click Render.
The report opens in a new page. The report might take a few minutes to compile, depending on the volume of account activity.
To find a deployed file
- Click the Report tab.
- Click the Deployment tab.
- Locate the Find Deployed File report line.
- Enter the file name or pattern to generate the report for.
To see all deployed files, enter *.*. Select the All Records option or specify a date range.
With a date range, the report period goes from the beginning of the Range From date to the end of the Range To date. If both dates are the same, the data returned is for the 24-hour period of that specific day.- In the Actions menu, click Render.
The report opens in a new page. The report might take a few minutes to compile, depending on the volume of account activity.
To generate an environment history report
- Click the Report tab.
- Click the Deployment tab.
- Locate the Environment History report line.
- From the lists, select the environment, server, and channel to generate the report for.
- Select the All Records option or specify a date range.
With a date range, the report period goes from the beginning of the Range From date to the end of the Range To date. If both dates are the same, the data returned is for the 24-hour period of that specific day. - In the Actions menu, click Render.
The report opens in a new page. The report might take a few minutes to compile depending on the volume of activity in the environment.
To generate an instance history report
- Click the Report tab.
- Click the Deployment tab.
- Locate the Instance History report line.
- Select the package that has the instance to generate the report for.
- Select the instance to generate the report for.
- Select the All Records option or specify a date range.
With a date range, the report period goes from the beginning of the Range From date to the end of the Range To date. If both dates are the same, the data returned is for the 24-hour period of that specific day. - In the Actions menu, click Render.
The report opens in a new page. The report might take a few minutes to compile, depending on the volume of account activity.
To generate a content history report
- Click the Report tab.
- Click the Deployment tab.
- Locate the Content History report line.
- Select the package that has the content to generate the report for.
- Select the content reference to generate the report for.
- Select the All Records option or specify a date range.
With a date range, the report period goes from the beginning of the Range From date to the end of the Range To date. If both dates are the same, the data returned is for the 24-hour period of that specific day. - In the Actions menu, click Render.
The report opens in a new page. The report might take a few minutes to compile, depending on the volume of account activity.
To generate an aggregate report
- Click the Report tab.
- Click the Deployment tab.
- Locate the Aggregate report line.
- Select one or more of the User, Environment, Instance, Group, or Content options by checking the appropriate box or boxes.
- Specify a date range.
With a date range, the report period goes from the beginning of the Range From date to the end of the Range To date. If both dates are the same, the data returned is for the 24-hour period of that specific day. - In the Actions menu, click Render.
The report opens in a new page. The report might take a few minutes to compile, depending on the volume of account activity.
