Using configuration schedules with channel templates
Configuration schedules are for channel templates and their associated channels. Configuration schedules are created and accessed on the Schedules tab, which shows all defined schedules, with their frequency, next start time, and other related information.
When a configuration schedule starts, a configuration synchronization process is initiated for all the channels of that template type. When the template identifies a reference channel for the configuration baseline, if any configuration data retrieved for any channel differs from that of the reference channel, a configuration failure or drift process starts.
Before creating a configuration schedule, you must create the channel template to use for it, using Channel Templates on the Topology tab (see Creating-and-managing-channel-templates).
To create or edit a configuration schedule, see Creating-and-managing-schedules.
