Check boxes appear next to all the channels in the environment.
    2. Check the boxes for all the channels that should be members of this pool.
    3. Click the Submit checkmark icon.
The pooled channels show the proper designation in the Pools column for each channel.

Note

Each channel in an environment can be associated with 0, 1, or many pools.

Grouping environment pools

Note

Starting with BMC Release Package and Deployment version 4.3.01.10, you can group the environment pools to deploy all the pools within a group in parallel.

  1. Create several pools in an environment, following the Adding environment pools procedure.
  2. In the Pools section, next to the Actions menu of a selected pool, click the Group with above.png or Group with below.png icon, depending on whether you want to group the pool with the above, or with the below located pool.
The pools are grouped. Now during the deployment, the content will be deployed simultaneously to all the channels within the specified pools group.

To ungroup the pools, click the Ungroup.png icon next to the Actions menu of a selected pools group.
