Accessing the interface

You can use the BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation user interface to perform the following management tasks:

• Define your network
• Configure servers and packages
• Define and deploy package instances, processes, and notification templates
• Set up schedules
• Create reports

To log on and access the BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation console

1. Type the following URL into your browser:
   http://<hostname>:<port>/<webServerPath>
   
   

   Parameter	Description
   <hostName>	Web server on which the console is installed
   <port>	(Optional) Web server port if you are not using the default HTTP port
   <webServerPath>	Location configured for your web server to serve the installation directory (can be omitted if the product was installed into the web server root directory) Default: brlm/

2. Click Log in.
