Developing

This section provides information about extending or customizing the product and about developing applications with its development environment.

The BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation system APIs are interactive network services that you can use to control basic system functions. With the APIs, you can:

  • Create and manage channels, environments, routes, and packages
  • Query lists of defined resources in the system
  • Initiate deployments

BMC recommends that after installation of the API service you first restart the engine, and then the API service.
