Setting or changing user preferences
Options and settings for individual users and the system are specified with preferences:
- Most preferences work only if they are applied to the _system user. These are called system preferences.
- A few preferences can be applied to ordinary users.
To change the preferences assigned to a user
- Click the System tab.
- From the left menu, select Users.
- From the displayed list of existing users, select a user.
- Change the assigned preferences:
- To remove a preference, click Delete in the associated Actions menu on the right.
- To edit a preference, click the highlighted Value that you want to change, make the change, and click the Submit checkmark icon.
To add a new preference for a user
- From the Users list on the System tab, select the user to edit.
- Click New Setting and enter the preference details.
- Click the Submit checkmark icon.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
