Configuring after installation
If you have the user account with the Admin mode, complete the configuration process after the installation but before you begin the deployments:
- Set up servers, load balancers, engines, and virtual machines (VMs). See Configuring-and-managing-the-system.
- Create users, roles, and access permissions. See Managing-users-and-preferences.
- Implement data management policies by creating clean-up schedules. See Creating-and-managing-schedules.
- Set up configuration management features for Channel Templates, Channels, and Environments. See Monitoring-and-managing-server-configurations.
- Configure authentication methods:
- Local Account Database authentication
- LDAP authentication
- Microsoft Active Directory (MSAD) authentication
- Microsoft Active Directory – SSO authentication
- Microsoft Active Directory – MLD authentication
Ensure that you have configured the elements of the Topology tab (Channel Template, Channel, Environment, and Route) before setting the deployment process and creating a package.
After this configuration process, you are ready to create packages, repositories, and deployment processes. For an overview of basic steps, see End-to-end-process.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
