  1. Host: Zabbix Server

  2. Port: Zabbix Server Port 

  3. Uses HTTPS: If Splunk uses HTTPS, check this box

  4. Allow Unsigned Certificates (should not be used in productive environments) Click here to learn how to install certificates

  5. User Name: for user that can access the SolarWinds REST API

  6. Password: for user that can access the SolarWinds REST API

  7. Select "Validate And Create"

    1. If there's no error, the connection was successful
    2. If error, click here to troubleshoot: Linux or Windows
