  1. Select data types (source supported data types will automatically be available in the UI; ensure Destination can ingest chosen data types)

  2. Select Continue

Step 6a: Configure Source Events



Step 6a: Configure Source Events

  1. Select Data Type to access configuration screens 
    1. Event (selected)
    2. Metric
    3. Topology

  2. Schedule Name: the scheduled frequency which StreamWeaver will collect from vROPS (5 Minutes interval recommended)
  3. Extract data for Adapter Kinds: the following impact choices can be selected:
    1. Container
    2. EP Ops Adapter
    3. Http Post
    4. PythonRemediatorVcenterAdapter
    5. VMWARE

  4. Data time Window: the historical period from present time which StreamWeaver will collect from vROPS (5 Minutes interval recommended)

  5. Data Latency: the offset for the end of collection period (typically 0 without special use case)
  6. After configuring Events, select "Next"

    1. Event
    2. Metric
    3. Topology (selected)

  2. Extract data for Adapter Kinds: the following impact choices can be selected:
    1. Container
