Data types available from New Relic

  1. Data types available from Dynatrace SaaS/Managed

    1. Select data types (source supported data types will automatically be available in the UI; ensure Destination can ingest chosen data types

    2. Collector (Source Mediator)
      1. Event Data Type (Source)
      2. Metric Data Type (Source)
      3. Topology Data Type (Source)

Step 6a: Configure Source Events



Step 6a: Configure Source Events

  1. Collection Schedule: the scheduled frequency which StreamWeaver will collect event data from New Relic (5 Minutes interval recommended)

  2. Data Time Window: the historical period from present time which StreamWeaver will collect from New Relic (5 Minutes interval recommended)

  3. Data Latency: specifies how far back on the timeline that the Data Time Window is placed

  4. Select to Snap start time to match Data Time WIndow period

  5. Max Buffer Age : Enter the maximum buffer age

  6. Log Requests/Responses : Advanced: Do not change unless directed by StreamWeaver

  7. Applications: a selection of applications is automatically populated from New Relic; select "all" or a specific subset of applications

  8. Select to only collect for Selected Application Scope.

  9. After configuring the selected data types Alerts, Events, Metrics and Topology, select "Create Collectors and Continue"

  2. Data Time Window: the historical period from present time which StreamWeaver will collect from New Relic (5 Minutes interval recommended)

  3. Data Latency: specifies how far back on the timeline that the Data Time Window is placed

  4. Select to Snap start time to match Data Time WIndow period

  5. Log Requests/Responses : Advanced: Do not change unless directed by StreamWeaver

  6. Applications: a selection of applications is automatically populated from New Relic; select "all" or a specific subset of applications

  7. Metric Categories : a selection of Metric Categories is automatically populated from New Relic; select "Select All" or a specific subset of Metric Categories

  8. Scope : Select or Deselect any of these to limit the Scope

  9. NRQL results Limit : Enter the maximum number of metrics to collect for NRQL

  10. After configuring the selected data types Alerts, Events, Metrics and Topology, select "Create Collectors and Continue"
