- Select data types (source supported data types will automatically be available in the UI; ensure Destination can ingest chosen data types
- Collector (Source Mediator)

- Metric Data Type (Source)
- Topology Data Type (Source)

- Event Data Type (Destination)

- Select Continue

Step 6a: Configure Source Events
- Select Data Type to access configuration screens
- Metric (selected)
- Event
- Topology
- Management Pack: Indicate which Microsoft SCOM Management Pack the metrics are included in
- SCOM Groups: Filters by available SCOM Groups
- Data Window: Length of time that the metric collection spans
- Data Latency: Time offset of collection, if any
- Schedule Name: Collection Interval for metrics
- After configuring Metrics, select "Next" to configure Events
Step 6b: Configure Source Metrics
- Select Data Type to access configuration screens
- Metric
- Event (selected)
- Topology
- Category: Indicates which Microsoft SCOM Event Categories are to be collected
- Severities: Indicates which Microsoft SCOM Event Severities are to be collected
- Priority: Indicates which Microsoft SCOM Event Priorities are to be collected
- State: Indicates which Microsoft SCOM Event States are to be collected
- Data Window: Length of time that the event collection spans
- Data Latency: Time offset of collection, if any
- Schedule Name: Collection Interval for metrics
- After configuring Events select "Next" to configure Topology
Step 6c: Configure Source Topology
- Select Data Type to access configuration screens (do not click "Create Collectors and Continue" until all Data Types have been configured)

- Metric
- Topology (selected)
- Management Pack: Indicate which Microsoft SCOM Management Pack the metrics are included in
- SCOM Groups: Filters by available SCOM Groups
- Data Window: Length of time that the event collection spans
- Data Latency: Time offset of collection, if any
- Schedule Name: Collection Interval for metrics
- After configuring Topology, select "Create Collectors and Continue"
