Configure: Micro Focus NNMi Metrics

Data types available from Micro Focus NNMi

  1. Choose "Create New Collector" or "Use Existing Collector"

  2. Select data types (source supported data types will automatically be available in the UI; ensure Destination can ingest chosen data types)
    1. Metrics

  3. Collector (Source Mediator)
    1. Metrics Data Type (Source)

  4. Distributors (Destination Mediator)
    1. Metrics Data Type (Destination)

  5. Select Continue

Step 6a: Configure Source Metrics



Step 6a: Configure Source Metrics

  1. Select Data Type to access configuration screens 
    1. Metrics (selected)

  2. Metric Files Directory: The path of the metric files to be collected

  3. Metric Files Done Directory: The path in which processed metric files are to be moved to (prevents reprocessing same data)

  4. Delete files when done: If you would like to delete the processed files rather than move them to a new location, check this box

  5. Metric Categories: the following status choices can be selected:

    1. Component
    2. Interface

  6. Schedule Name: the scheduled frequency which StreamWeaver will collect event data from Micro Focus NNMi (5 Minutes interval recommended)

  7. After configuring Metrics, select "Create Collectors and Continue"
