- Choose "Create New Collector" or "Use Existing Collector"
- Select data types (source supported data types will automatically be available in the UI; ensure Destination can ingest chosen data types)
- Event
- Topology
- Collector (Source Mediator)

- Distributors (Destination Mediator)
- Event Data Type (Destination)
- Topology Data Type (Destination)
- Select Continue

Step 6a: Configure Source Events
- Select Data Type to access configuration screens
- Event (selected)
- Topology
- Nature: the following impact choices can be selected:
- Root Cause
- Secondary Root Cause
- Symptom
- Service Impact
- Stream Correlation
- Info
- None
- Origin: the following severity choices can be selected:
- Management Software
- Manually Created
- Remotely Generated
- SNMP Trap
- Syslog
- Other
- Severity: the following status choices can be selected:
- Critical
- Major
- Minor
- Warning
- Normal
- Data time Window: the historical period from present time which StreamWeaver will collect event data from Micro Focus NNMi (5 Minutes interval recommended)
- Schedule Name: the scheduled frequency which StreamWeaver will collect event data from Micro Focus NNMi (5 Minutes interval recommended)
- After configuring Events and Topology, select "Create Collectors and Continue"

Step 6b: Configure Source Topology
- Select Data Type to access configuration screens
- Event
- Topology (selected)
- Data time Window: the historical period from present time which StreamWeaver will collect topology data from Micro Focus NNMi (5 Minutes interval recommended)
- Schedule Name: choose a name from the drop-down: the Micro Focus NNMi scheduled frequency recommendation is 1 hour
- Advanced: Do not change unless directed by StreamWeaver
- After all Data Type Configurations are complete, select 'Create Collectors and Continue'
