Configure: SCOM Event to Alert Rules

StreamWeaver creates SCOM events for every alert or event received by a source.  The StreamWeaver Management Pack contains SCOM Rules that can configured to produce alerts that contain additional event fields by modifying/duplicating a rule.


1) Open the Authoring => Rules menu then search for the SWP Event to Alert rule and open the Properties.  Note, this may require selecting the StreamWeaver Management Pack from the scope.

2) Click Edit from the Responses section

3) Add paths to the content in the Data section. 


For example, from the sample event, the path to the ResourceName is 

$Data/Context/DataItem/EventData/Data/ResourceName$
