- Select data types (source supported data types will automatically be available in the UI; ensure Destination can ingest chosen data types)
- Select Continue

Step 6a: Configure Source Events
- Select Data Type to access configuration screens
- Event (selected)
- Metric
- Topology
- Schedule Name: the scheduled frequency which StreamWeaver will collect from vROPS (5 Minutes interval recommended)
- Extract data for Adapter Kinds: the following impact choices can be selected:
- Container
- EP Ops Adapter
- Http Post
- PythonRemediatorVcenterAdapter
- VMWARE
- Data time Window: the historical period from present time which StreamWeaver will collect from vROPS (5 Minutes interval recommended)
- Data Latency: the offset for the end of collection period (typically 0 without special use case)
- After configuring Events, select "Next"

Step 6b: Configure Source Metrics
- Select Data Type to access configuration screens
- Event
- Metric (selected)
- Topology
- Schedule Name: the scheduled frequency which StreamWeaver will collect from vROPS (5 Minutes interval recommended)
- Extract data for Adapter Kinds: the following impact choices can be selected:
- Container
- EP Ops Adapter
- Http Post
- PythonRemediatorVcenterAdapter
- VMWARE
- Data time Window: the historical period from present time which StreamWeaver will collect from vROPS (5 Minutes interval recommended)
- Data Latency: the offset for the end of collection period (typically 0 without special use case)
- After configuring Metrics, select "Next"
Step 6c: Configure Source Topology
- Select Data Type to access configuration screens (do not click "Create Collectors and Continue" until all Data Types have been configured)
- Event
- Metric
- Topology (selected)
- Schedule Name: the scheduled frequency which StreamWeaver will collect from vROPS (5 Minutes interval recommended)
- Extract data for Adapter Kinds: the following impact choices can be selected:
- Container
- EP Ops Adapter
- Http Post
