Configure: Prometheus Metrics

Configure Dynatrace SaaS/Managed


Data types available from Prometheus - See Prometheus-Webhook for obtaining prometheus eventshttps://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/3048294/metricsFnl@1x.png

  1. Select data types (source supported data types will automatically be available in the UI; ensure Destination can ingest chosen data types

  2. Collector (Source Mediator)
    1. Metric Data Type (Source)

  3. Distributors (Destination Mediator)
    1. Metric Data Type (Destination)
  1. Select Continue

Step 6b: Configure Source Metrics



Step 6b: Configure Source Metrics

  1. Select Data Type to access configuration screens 
    1. Metric (selected)

  2. Jobs: Metric collection jobs to query

  3. Metric Series: either "All Series" or you can select multiple series via the multi-select field

  4. Data time Window: the historical period from present time which StreamWeaver will collect event data from Dynatrace SaaS/Managed (5 Minutes interval recommended)

  5. Data Latency: specifies how far back on the timeline that the Data Window is placed

  6. Schedule Name: the scheduled frequency which StreamWeaver will collect from Dynatrace SaaS/Managed (5 Minutes interval recommended)

  7. After configuring Metrics, select "Create Collectors and Continue"
