Data types available from Micro Focus APM
- Choose "Create New Collector" or "Use Existing Collector"
- Select data types (source supported data types will automatically be available in the UI; ensure Destination can ingest chosen data types
- Collector (Source Mediator)

- Metric Data Type SAM (Source)
- Metric Data Type SLM (Source)
- Distributors (Destination Mediator)
- Metric Data Type (Destination)

Step 6a: Configure Source Metrics
- Schedule Name: the scheduled frequency which StreamWeaver will collect from Micro Focus APM (5 Minutes recommended)
- Averaging Period: as Metric data flows into Micro Focus APM, it calculates summary data from fine grained samples (example, every 5 minutes, or every 15 minutes). This field tells Micro Focus APM which kind of summarized data StreamWeaver should extract. A general rule is that the Period should match the Data Window.
- Data Latency: specifies how far back on the timeline that the Data Window is placed
- Data Window: the historical period from present time which StreamWeaver will collect metric data from Micro Focus APM (5 minutes recommended)
- Period: will be deprecated
- Business Applications: a list of applications auto generated by querying the Micro Focus APM instance
- Flow Transactions: a list of transactions auto generated by querying the Micro Focus APM instance
- Select "Create Collectors and Continue"
