Connect: AppDynamics

Step One: Select the Source

  1. Launch the UI - http://<streamweaver server>:7456/

  3. Click AppDynamics from sources list

Step Two: Source Connection

  1. Input the unique Source instance name.
  2. AppDynamics Gateway or LB VIP port.
  3. Input account for user to acccess APPDynamics REST API.
  4. User who can access the REST API.
  5. Password for the User.
  6. Check "Use Proxy" if exist , input proxy host
  7. input proxy port
  8. check / uncheck "Allow Unsigned Certs" if not certs are not Signed by CA.
  9. Click on "Validate & Create" to perform validation of the connection details .

Step Three : Destination Connection

1) Select the Desired destination icon from the supported list of Destinations

2) Input the Destination details

  1. Host - Host detail of the destination system
  2. port- Destination port
  3. HEC Token
  4. Check Proxy if applicable and input the proxy host / port
  5. check Protocol as https if using secure
  6. Check "Allow Unsigned Certificate" if using self signed certificate.

3) Click on "validate & create" to verify the connection.
