Create Source - Destination Stream
This section explains step by step screens to configure a streams which in this order
Connect Source >> Connect Destination >> Select Datatypes >> Create Collector >> Create Distributor >> Start Stream channel
Common Connection details for Source & Destination
- Proxy host, Proxy port
- Secure / Non secure connection (HTTPS/ HTTP)
- Default ssl is 443 , Ports are configurable
- If connection request uses signed / Unsigned certificate.
Step 1: Select a Source
Click the , Click the desired Source icon ( Eg NewRelic)
Step 2 : Source Connection
- Provide an Instance Name , Input the connection details and Click "Validate And Create" icon
- Recommended instance naming standard: <Source Type>_< Source Controller Server Name>{_<Instance Qualifier>}
- Instance Qualifier useful when multiple source instances configured from same Source Server
- Note: Source name needs to be unique and cannot be re-used as a Source or Destination

Step 3 : Destination Connection
Select desired destination icon
Example selected destination as Amazon Elastic icon , Input the connection details and click "Validate & Create".
Step 4: Data Types
Supported Data types are Metrics, Events & Topology . Check / uncheck as appropriate channel.
Step 5 : Create Collectors
Click on "Create Collectors" to created required collector stream of selected data types.
All collectors created
Step 6 :Create Distributor:
Click on "Create Distributors" to create relevant distributors
Elastic specific distributors are created
Step 7: Save / Start
Click on "Save and Start Stream"

Slide either of the sliders on the right to start the streams
Representation of running streams
Stop Streams
Slide either of slider on to left to stop the streams.
Pause
Click on dot icon on the center and stop/start individual stream
Delete
We want to delete "topology " stream , click on the corresponding stream and Delete
