Connect: Micro Focus OMi/OBM


CONNECT TO DESTINATION

  1. Host: Micro Focus OpsBridge OMi/OBM Gateway or LB VIP port
  2. Port: Micro Focus OpsBridge OMi/OBM Gateway or LB VIP port
    1. Typical: Port 30005
  3. Uses HTTPS
    1. Typical: Unchecked
    2. If Micro Focus OpsBridge OMi/OBM Gateway or LB VIP port uses HTTPS, check this box
  4. Allow Unsigned Certificate (should not be used in productive environments) Click here to learn how to install certificates
  5. Max Connections
  6. Agent Fully Qualified Domain Name: the fully qualified domain name of the server hosting the Micro Focus Operations Agent that will receive the MET data (normally this is the same as host field)
  7. Port: Micro Focus Agent Port
    1. Typical: Port 383

  8.  Call Timeout: prevent overloading of destination when an API call has taken longer than this time (in seconds)
     to complete

    Use arrow to access Proxy Settings

  9. Uses Proxy : Select if you need to configure a proxy server
  10. Proxy Host: Hostname of the proxy server
  11. Proxy Port: Port number configured on proxy server for this connection
  12. Select "Validate And Create"
    1. If there's no error, the connection was successful
    2. If error, click here to troubleshoot: Linux or Windows
