Prequal

Connecting to the supported data-sources , collects - topology , events , metrics and log request/ response for troubleshooting purpose

Current supported data-source are

Instructions:

Download the bit - “toolprequalapp-2.26.10.zip” , MD5 cksum - “3F2FBFBF257B37DA6530075D1A9517A3”
unzip the “toolprequalapp-2.26.10.zip”
Download attachments "applicationTemplate.conf" and "prequal.json" files and copy over to /tmp directory
Update the connection details , selection as appropriate to your environment.
run the below command with specified source -m flag

./toolprequalapp -c /tmp/applicationTemplate.conf -e /tmp/prequal.json -m dynatracemanaged

[ -m vrops ; -m appdynamics ]

APPD:

Update the "connection" section under Appd in prequal.json

Update the “selectors” as appropriate for each section of Event , Metric and Topology

Output message :

Dyanatrace Managed:

Update the "connection" section under Dynatrace Managed Saas in prequal.json

Update the “selectors” as appropriate for each section of Event , Alert, Metric and Topology

Note 1: Choices can be Tags belonging to the corresponding categories [ Process , Process Group, Service,Hosts,Applications]

update the connection details under Vrops section in prequal.json
