Configure Auth0 Authentication


How to setup up a local All-in-One instance with authentication a Step-by-step guide

Steps:

  1. Create a support ticket making sure you supply the URL of the StreamWeaver to be Auth enabled.
  2. Obtain an Auth0 enabled version from StreamWeaver.
  3. Upgrade your environment (Upgrade) to this version. 
  4. To enable Auth0 in StreamWeaver
    1. Edit swp.conf and add the following

      neo.feature.flags.auth-enabled=true

      neo.rest-security.auth-enabled=true 

    2. backup existing license file to a new location

      mv /opt/streamweaver/conf/licenses/* /tmp/
    3. Use a License4j config file that has AUTH_ENABLED (which will be provided by StreamWeaver) and place in the

      /opt/streamweaver/conf/licenses
    4. Create required directory path and place auth0.crt (which will be provided to you by StreamWeaver) in “secrets” directory.

      mkdir -p /opt/streamweaver/services/swpallinone/conf/secrets/
    5. Restart the swp services

      service streamweaver restart
  5. Launch SWP-UI , click on “Dont remember your Password” to reset the default password
