Admin Cheat Sheet

When you want StreamWeaver to run as a service and start back up after restarting the server.

  1. Unzip the StreamWeaver binary 

  2. Copy the startup scripts to the appropriate folders

    cd /opt/streamweaver
    sudo cp systemloader/systemv/etc/default/streamweaver /etc/default
    sudo cp systemloader/systemv/etc/init.d/streamweaver /etc/init.d

  3. Run the service

    sudo service streamweaver start

  4. Register the service for auto-restart

    sudo chkconfig --add streamweaver

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
