Uninstalling BMC TrueSight Report Engine

This section explains how to uninstall BMC TrueSight Report Engine:

Uninstalling on Microsoft Windows

To uninstall BMC TrueSight Report Engine on Microsoft Windows, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to folder BMC_PROACTIVENET_REPORTENGINE_HOME/ UninstallBMCProactiveNetReportEngine.
  2. Double click uninstall.exe to run the utility.
  3. On the Welcome page, click Next to uninstall BMC TrueSight Reporting.
  4. Select the features you want to uninstall and click Next. 
  5. On the Uninstallation Preview page, click Uninstall.
  6. Click Done.

Uninstalling on Linux or Solaris

To uninstall BMC TrueSight Report Engine on Linux or Solaris, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to folder BMC_PROACTIVENET_REPORTENGINE_HOME/ UninstallBMCProactiveNetReportEngine.
  2. Run uninstall.sh
  3. On the Welcome page, click Next to uninstall BMC TrueSight Reporting.
  4. Select the features you want to uninstall and click Next. 
  5. On the Uninstallation Preview page, click Uninstall.
  6. Click Done.
Warning

Note

After uninstalling, all files may not be deleted. Restart the computer and delete any installation directories or files that remain.
