Blank page displayed on the console


Scenario: Sometimes when you upgrade from version 11.0.00, you might see a blank screen when you log on to the TrueSight console. This scenario can also occur if you apply the TrueSight Presentation Serverfeature pack or fix pack.

Reason: This problem occurs when one of the *.war files available under the installationDirectory\truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps directory is not extracted correctly. 

Solution: 

  1. Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
  2. Access the TrueSight console.

If you continue to face the same issue, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to the following directory and delete all the folders (except the ROOT folder and *.war files). Ensure to also delete backup folders created manually if any.

    • (Windows) installationDirectory\truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps
    • (Linux) installationDirectory/truesightpserver/modules/tomcat/webapps

    The deleted files are automatically recreated.

    Note

    If you have made changes mentioned here, please restore custom JavaScript files if any after the TrueSight Presentation Server starts up.

  2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
  3. Access the TrueSight console.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
