Access to all devices and groups for the Monitoring Administrator user group

Users that you add to the out-of-the-box Monitoring Administrator user group have access to all devices and groups.

Authorization profiles, like Application Specialist that include the Monitoring Administrator user group, are affected since access is required to all objects contained in the application.

To restrict access to only associated objects, perform the following steps:

1. Create a custom user group, for example, UG1.
2. Add users to UG1.
3. Create an authorization profile - select UG1 as the user group, Monitoring Administrator as the role, and select objects to associate with.
