Configuring a custom encryption key for the Presentation Server

If you set a custom encryption key for the Infrastructure Management cell, perform the following steps to update the custom encryption key in the TrueSight Presentation Server:

1. Open the InstalledDirectory\truesightpserver\conf\mcell.dir file using a text editor.

2. Edit the following entry and replace the default encryption key mc with the custom encryption key that you set for the Infrastructure Management cell.

   gateway.gateway_subtype ts_event_gateway mc <host name>:<port number>

3. Save the mcell.dir file.
4. Restart the TrueSight Presentation Server.
5. After the TrueSight Presentation Server has restarted completely, restart the Infrastructure Management server.
