Troubleshooting Server Endpoints license usage report

Exporting the endpoint license usage report for  TrueSight Infrastructure Management server as PDF and CSV types is deprecated in 11.03.04. For all deprecated and dropped features and components, see Deprecated and dropped features and components.

Symptoms

When downloading Server Endpoints license usage report from TrueSight console  >License Usage >Server Endpoints>Download, the following error appears:

Found Invalid user request

Solution

If any reason you want to download the report, follow the procedure:

  1. Add the following parameter in the /pw/custom/conf/pronet.conf file:
    com.bmc.licensereports.allowDownload=true
  2. Run the following command:
    pw jproperties reload

Now you can download the license usage report.

Disable or remove the parameter after you download the license usage report. as the report can be downloaded by non-admin user by using API tools (e.g., Curl).

To remove or disable:

  1. Remove the following parameter or make it false:
    com.bmc.licensereports.allowDownload=false
  2. Run the following command:
    pw jproperties reload
