System requirements validation for installing or upgrading Presentation Server

System Validation what's new icon.png

When you install or upgrade TrueSight Presentation Server, the installer validates if the system requirements for a large setup are met and only then allows you to proceed with the installation or upgrade. After the installation or upgrade, the system requirements are validated every time that you restart the product.

However, in a non-production environment, you can skip the validation of system requirements and install or upgrade the product. You can do this by running the installer with the -J MINIMAL=true parameter. For more information, see the installation and upgrade instructions.

Similarly, you can start the TrueSight Presentation Server service only when your system meets the system requirements. However, in a non-production environment, you can force the service to start by making some configuration changes. For more information, see Starting and stopping the TrueSight Operations Management components.

Authentication platform support

Added Remedy Single Sign-On versions

TrueSight Presentation Server now supports Remedy Single Sign-On 18.05 and 18.02. Remedy SSO for TrueSight 11.3.01 installer is bundled with Remedy SSO 18.02 version.
