Stopping the Infrastructure Management Server

The installation process automatically starts the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server. If you want to stop the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server, follow the procedure appropriate for your operating system.

To stop the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server on Microsoft Windows

  1. From the system tray, right-click the Infrastructure Management icon TSIM_stop_server_systray.png and select Server Stop.
  2. Alternatively, access the pw command prompt window and run the following command:
    pw system stop

To stop the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server on Linux

  1. Access the pw CLI.
  2. Run the pw sys stop command.
