Licensing information
BMC TrueSight Operations Management Reporting is included under the same license as of BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management. The SAP® BusinessObjects that supports creation of custom reports is an add-on license, and should be obtained separately.
A perpetual, unlimited concurrent user license for viewing reports in Business Objects (BO) is included in the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management – Base license. This BO can be used only for reporting on data collected by BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management and its components, including BMC Performance Reporting, TMART, and BEM/SIM. It CANNOT be used for any other BMC product.
All reporting capabilities for the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management data and components (for example, BMC Performance Manager Portal, BMC Transaction Management (TM ART), BMC Event Manager/Service Impact Model) are included in the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Suite - Base License, with two exceptions:
BMC Performance Management – Reporting Studio LA entitles a customer to use Business Objects to customize out-of-the-box and create new web intelligence reports. The product does not require a separate license key to activate the creation and edit functionality. However, any customer who plans to customize out-of-the-box reports for BMC Performance Manager Reporting (Patrol Reporting) or BMC TrueSight Operations Management Reporting (as of version 8.5) is required to license the BMC Performance Management - Reporting Studio LA. This is only required if the customer is using the Business Objects included in the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management base license.
BMC Performance Management – Additional Concurrent Reporting Users (6 designers) LA entitles a customer to have 6 additional concurrent Crystal designer users (beyond the 2 included in the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Suite - Base License) customize or create their own Crystal based solution reports for BPM Portal, BMC Transaction Management (TM ART), or BEM/SIM.

You can also send an e-mail message to customer_support@bmc.com, mentioning the BMC products you want to use with BMC Reporting Foundation. For example, BMC TrueSight Reporting, and BMC Performance Manager Portal (for Crystal Reports).
