Step 1: Installing BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server

The BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server installation installs the following components:

  • BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server
  • BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Self-Monitoring Service (also known as the local agent)
  • BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Operator Console
  • BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Administration Console
  • (Optional) Sybase or Oracle as BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management database
