Refreshing queue managers

This option is used to refresh queue manager objects.

To refresh queue managers

• 
  
  1. From the Navigation Panel, navigate to the relevant queue manager.
  2. From the Operations drop-down menu in the Properties screen for the relevant queue manager, select Refresh Queue Manager.
     
     The following popup dialog box is displayed:
     
      
  3. Define the following refresh settings:
     • Select the relevant Refresh Type (from Configuration Events, Expiry, or Proxy Subscriptions)
     • Select the Object Type (select from the list of available objects)
     • Enter an Object Name (trailing asterisks are allowed for wildcards, or enter an asterisk by itself)
     • Define the Command Scope (note that this is a z/OS only setting, which specifies how the command is executed when the queue manager is a member of a queue-sharing group; for further information, see the IBM documentation) 

     • Enter the Refresh Interval

  4. Click Refresh. The queue manager is refreshed immediately and a confirmation message is displayed in the Status Panel.
