Refreshing queue managers
This option is used to refresh queue manager objects.
To refresh queue managers
- From the Navigation Panel, navigate to the relevant queue manager.
- From the Operations drop-down menu in the Properties screen for the relevant queue manager, select Refresh Queue Manager.
The following popup dialog box is displayed:
- Define the following refresh settings:
- Select the relevant Refresh Type (from Configuration Events, Expiry, or Proxy Subscriptions)
- Select the Object Type (select from the list of available objects)
- Enter an Object Name (trailing asterisks are allowed for wildcards, or enter an asterisk by itself)
- Define the Command Scope (note that this is a z/OS only setting, which specifies how the command is executed when the queue manager is a member of a queue-sharing group; for further information, see the IBM documentation)
Enter the Refresh Interval
- Click Refresh. The queue manager is refreshed immediately and a confirmation message is displayed in the Status Panel.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
