The Model Queues object

A model queue is a template queue, a set of attributes that facilitates the creation of dynamic queues.

Note

Queues created from model queues can be either temporary or permanent.

Click on the Model Queues object from the Navigation Panel in the User Console to display the Summary View:

Summary view operations available from the Operations drop-down menu are: Copy As New Queue, Delete, Permissions, Audit, Tag Queue.

To access the selected queue's Properties Editor, click on the Queue Name in the workspace. At the Properties Editor level, standard IBM WebSphere MQ properties pertain. The Model Queues Properties Editor contains an extensive set of toggle-state options. Refer to the IBM WebSphere MQ documentation for relevant property definitions.
