Managing client connections

The TIBCO EMS Connections view relates to TIBCO EMS clients connected to the selected server. It displays the current state of messaging between clients.

Note

TIBCO EMS 'knows' two kinds of connections - those between servers which are established when two servers are connected by a route, and those between clients. The second describes the context for this view.

Selecting the Connections option displays the Connections Summary View. This is a statistical view with no Properties Editor attached. The only relevant user operation is the deletion of a connection:

Operations available:

  • Delete: Deletes the connection.
Error

Deleting a connection has consequences for resuming the same connection after the deletion and may also have a severe impact on the client application using this connection. Please consult with your TIBCO EMS system administrator before performing the Delete operation.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
