Managing connection factories

A connection factory is used to create a connection with a messaging provider (producer). Literally, a connection factory is an object that encapsulates the data used to define a client connection to a TIBCO EMS server.

Connection factory parameters include connection type (generic, topic or queue), and a URL (host name, transport protocol and port id) that together enable client connection to a TIBCO EMS server.

When you select Connection Factories from the Navigation Panel, the Connection Factories Summary View is displayed.
