Site and installation planning

Site planning includes analysis of user population, infrastructure and resources.

Each installation of TrueSight Middleware Administrator supports a specific number of such middleware assets. If the number of installed IBM WebSphere queue managers or TIBCO EMS servers matches or exceeds that number, you can acquire an additional license.

Site planning might also mean evaluation of security policies and policies. TrueSight Middleware Administrator works with one of five supplied security models. Discuss with enterprise security team members to determine whether you should change the default (ADMIN_ADMIN) security model supplied with the application.

Note

If your security team recommends that you change the current security model, make this change immediately after installation. See  Security-policy-settings  for relevant instructions.
