Uninstalling the meter


To uninstall the meter from Windows

  1. From the Control Panel, open the Programs and Features
  2. Find the TrueSight Meter
  3. Right-click and select Uninstall
  4. Navigate to the folder and delete it if it was not removed.
    • 64-bit: c:\Program Files\TrueSight
    • 32-bit: c:\Program Files(x86)\TrueSight

To uninstall the meter from CentOS and RedHat

  1. Type sudo yum remove truesight-meter
  2. Navigate to the /etc/truesight folder, which also contains configuration files and plugins, and delete the folder if it was not removed.

To uninstall the meter from Ubuntu and Debian

  1. Type sudo apt-get purge truesight-meter
  2. Navigate to the /etc/truesight folder, which also contains configuration files and plugins, and delete the folder if it was not removed.

To uninstall the meter from OS/X

  1. Type sudo /opt/truesight/etc/meterctl uninstall

 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
