Uninstalling the meter
To uninstall the meter from Windows
- From the Control Panel, open the Programs and Features
- Find the TrueSight Meter
- Right-click and select Uninstall
- Navigate to the folder and delete it if it was not removed.
- 64-bit: c:\Program Files\TrueSight
32-bit: c:\Program Files(x86)\TrueSight
To uninstall the meter from CentOS and RedHat
- Type sudo yum remove truesight-meter
- Navigate to the /etc/truesight folder, which also contains configuration files and plugins, and delete the folder if it was not removed.
To uninstall the meter from Ubuntu and Debian
- Type sudo apt-get purge truesight-meter
- Navigate to the /etc/truesight folder, which also contains configuration files and plugins, and delete the folder if it was not removed.
To uninstall the meter from OS/X
- Type sudo /opt/truesight/etc/meterctl uninstall
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
