Managing applications
To view the summary for all applications
Click Apps to view a summary view of all the applications configured in TrueSight Intelligence.The following details are available:
- The total events and abnormalities across all metrics set as KPIs for the application.
- Average values for the various metrics added as KPIs.
- A panoramic view of the metrics with the abnormality points plotted.
To view the details for an application
- Click App to open the summary view.
- Click the application name to view the selected application.
- Click Show Details to view the App Description, App URL, and App ID. Use the App ID to associate data with this App of in your TrueSight Intelligence account. For more information, see Collecting-data.
To view and analyze Application KPIs
The time scale on the charts is synchronized and provides a visual representation of the KPIs that enables you to identify relationships between metrics. For example, a sudden increase in requests might cause the response time to increase as well.
- Click Apps to view a summary view of all the applications configured in TrueSight Intelligence. The summary view lets you view the total events, abnormalities, and average values for the various metrics added as KPIs for each app.
- Click the application name to which you associated the metrics.
- From the app details screen, select the KPIs tab. You can view and analyze the charts (one chart for each KPI).
To edit the Application KPIs
- Click Apps and click the application name to view application details.
- Click edit
to view and edit the application details.
- You can edit the name, description, and application URL. The Application URL is used for reference, and is useful if you are monitoring an application that has a URL.
- From the KPIs table, perform the following actions:
- Click Save.
To view events
- Click Apps and click the application name to view application details.
- From the details screen, click the Events toggle button
.
