Configuring notifications

A notification comprises actions and alarms and informs you about abnormal situations. You configure notifications by specifying the transport mechanism (actions) that TrueSight Intelligence uses to send the notification and the alarm state (alarms) that triggers the notification. When configuring the notification, you can specify multiple transport mechanisms.

Example

You might want to trigger an alarm when the number of abnormalities exceeds a threshold for more than the specified period and then have the notification about the problem sent to your email and OpsGenie accounts.

From the top right of the screen, click the settings icon > Notifications to access the Creating-Actions and Creating-Alarms settings.
