Unable to find My Sandbox option in the dataset dropdown while creating new CIs

In the BMC CMDB Explorer, while creating new CIs on the Create CI page, the My Sandbox option might not be listed in the Select Dataset field. To continue creating a CI in a dataset other than the My Sandbox dataset, perform the following workaround:

Create a CI in a non-production dataset and ensure to promote it to the production dataset by running the corresponding reconciliation job. For more information, see Running a reconciliation job.

For example: If you create a CI in the BMC.AE dataset, ensure to run the Atrium Explorer - Identification and Merge reconciliation job to promote the changes in the BMC.AE dataset to the production dataset BMC.ASSET.


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
