Providing remote actions credentials

Provide the required credentials to run remote action on a remote device.

  1. Log on to the administration console.
  2. In the General Administration tab, expand the Devices folder and select the device for which you want to add credentials.
  3. Right-click the device name, and select Edit.
  4. On the Remote Actions tab in the Edit Device dialog box, enter the credentials and click OK.

There can be only one credential for each device. All remote actions use the same credentials. The supported protocols are:

  • ssh 
  • telnet 
  • xCmd
